Grad Student Picnic Fall 2010

Welcome back and welcome new students! We had a picnic at Squirrel park on Aug 25th. Thank you for coming to this picnic. We played corn-hole, soccer, baseball, and more. We want more people to come to our future activities and let's social more! September's last Friday night's social is coming, just stay tune!

Scavenger Hunt

Tick tock, goes a big loud clock

Take a picture with a large clock with at least two team members posed as the hands of a clock showing the same time at this location.

This large block letter P sculpture symbolizes the importance of lifelong learning and self-improvement

Take a picture of people making a word with the use of their bodies.

H20 is what an Engineer would call water

Take a photo with a famous fountain on campus, act like you are preparing to run through the fountain (or do it for real!!!).

Find his final resting place (grave) and take a picture of the team playing Plants vs. Zombies.

It all depends on your perspective

You would seem like a giant compared to this small scaled model of Purdue. Take a picture with one team member acting like Godzilla attacking Purdue. Then rub Lincoln’s nose in case you need some luck :P

This quote is from a Purdue alum… take a picture with him in front of his building and then try to fit as many feet as you can in the giant footsteps nearby.

This fountain flows with more than 100 years of memories from all who have stopped for a refreshing drink of water. Take a picture of all the team members quenching their thirst.
