IE GSO Orientation Social

A group of 30 students had a great time going on a Photo Scavenger Hunt followed by a social at Boiler Market. The challenge included the following tasks...

1. Tick tock, goes a big loud clock
Get a picture of everyone in the team looking at their watches in front of this location.

2. That's one small step for [a] man, one giant l
eap for mankind."
This quote is from a Purdue alum… take a picture with him in front of his building.

3. H20 is what an Engineer would call water
Take a photo with this famous fountain on campus.

4. Old John gave the land to start the university
Find his final resting place (grave) and everyone should act like a zombie in the photo!

5. This large block letter P sculpture symbolizes the importance of lifelong learning and self-improvement
Take a picture of people making other letters with the use of their bodies.

6. The chosen one is called Harry
But in this location lots of engineers are hanging out. Take a picture with the team reading books.

7. It all depends on your perspective
You would seem like a giant compared to this small scaled model of Purdue. Take a picture with one team member acting like Godzilla attacking Purdue.

8. Everyday reading is fun
Take a picture with all the team members and the Exponent in a unique way!

9. Where the wild things are?
Take a picture being wild in front of a Greek (Fraternity) House or with an actual animal

10. The expression Go Ugly Early started at this sweet shop
Take a picture showing us your sweetest look in front of Harry's

11. Feeling hungry late at night?
Go to this cafĂ© – they are open until 4 am! You can eat lots of Rice here. Take a group shot with the sign out front!

12. There are lots cool things on campus to see…
Take a picture where the team members are hard to find but are present. This is the “Can you find us?” photo.

13. STOP, Yield, Walk – Follow the sign
Do exactly what the sign says (any sign can work). The more creative, the better :)
